Elve 'Nadol was a Sangheili who was affected by an energy burst when Earth Land arrived in the universe. This energy burst gave him access to magic from that world, and, as such, after working with the group a few times, he joined the Fairy Tail guild in order to hone his new abilities. He manipulates a form of Letter Magic called "Dark Écriture", and Freed Justine is his mentor in using Dark Écriture.
As an Ultra in the Covenant Separatists, Elve has a squad of Sangheili Minors at his disposal, as well as a Phantom dropship.
