Fran was a sky pirate and Balthier's partner. She accompanied Balthier and the others when they investigated the Pelican crash. She also assisted in the defense of Rabanastre, by assisting Balthier at the East Gate. She also participated in the Evacuation of Rabanastre. She later joined Hellcat Squadran, but stays with Balthier, and assists John Powers, along with Balthier.
