RWBY (pronounced "Ruby") is a team of huntresses that originally formed at Beacon Academy. The team is comprised of 4 well-renowned huntresses: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long.
The first battle with the four members fighting together occurs during initiation, though it happens before the team's official formation.
The team was later formed after initiation. During initiation, the team brought back the White Knight pieces, and Ruby was assigned the leader of the team. Eventually, after a series of adventures, including an encounter with Leinad Llehctim during his exile, Team RWBY graduated, and remained together, quickly becoming one of the greatest hunter teams the Remnant Alliance had to offer.
